Since 2012, Ashley has faithfully served in jail ministry, walking alongside women navigating addiction, trauma, incarceration, and rebuilding their lives. What began as a simple “yes” to teaching a Bible study has grown into years of witnessing firsthand the transforming grace of God behind bars. Through weekly classes, mentorship, and discipleship, she has seen bitterness turn to forgiveness, shame replaced with identity in Christ, and hopelessness transformed into purpose. Her newly released devotional ,but God: Stories of Hope and Grace from an Alabama Jail, weaves together Scripture and real-life testimonies of redemption, reminding readers that no past is too messy and no life is beyond God’s reach.
