I was honored to speak for a few minutes at Morgan County United—a student movement for Jesus here in Morgan County, AL. It was an honor to serve as Emcee for the Neighborhood Christian Center's 30th Anniversary Celebration. I was also grateful for the opportunity to share how I started in jail ministry — how what began as a one-time visit became a lifelong calling, and how God continues to write the story.

At the Neighborhood Christian Center’s 30th Anniversary Celebration, I had the privilege of sharing about the theme of the night: Be the Light. We are called to shine in a world that desperately needs hope. Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." May we all be a light that reflects Jesus to others.
